Author commentary

It was a relief to finalise this chapter for a number of reasons.

  1. I’m nearly ready to start the section on my volunteering which is where I’ve been heading all along. It feels great to be so close to sharing the main story with you :-)

  2. I’ve been wanting to circle back to the Venezuelan crisis since I first told the story of seeing the fat…
